This, I just feel we are a goal scorer, a no10 and a decent winger away from being a better team.

We’ve had 3-5 years to fix it and failed miserably though.

Maupay isn’t a bad player, but doesn’t fit our system.

We’ve tried countless wingers and unless you’ve got some explosive options we’ve got this… which is beyond drab.

Newcastle went out and signed players who all round fit their need. We’ve just squandered every option. This summer was a huge opportunity missed, we desperately needed multiple options, and didn’t do it again… £60m rejected for Gordon, well that could well define Lampard/Thelwell pairing.

Do evertonians understand that no fan of any other team rates Lampard one bit? Think of the way we thought of Stevie G as a manager. Well that's exactly how everyone sees Lampard.

This is true this actually, problem is everyone likes him as a person, as a legend of the game, so he gets a pass, but as you say they wouldnt want them at there clubs, but we do even though the stats say run

True, also at this stage of last season it wasn’t looking like Norwich and Watford were going to be cut adrift, they were competitive until February onwards when they just fell off a cliff.

Got to disagree there, Norwich were all but down by October last year

one of the worst prem teams in a long time

You say this but they had 10 points, at this stage last season, same as Forest do now, they were 3 points behind the 17th placed side, Forest might be 4 points off and not have the shocking GD Norwich had, but they weren't down, there is only one point difference in terms of the gap to safety.
