You really think he didn’t work on set pieces? If you genuinely believe that you’re even more of complete balloon than I thought you were

Shouldn’t you be starting your next manager out campaign anyway? 90 mins is more or less the average timespan you give an Everton manager isn’t it to sate your teenage mind before you want them out. Maybe you could even get going on hounding then next one out before he’s even arrived.
Oh hello, Allardyce and the fat man

Next

You were in a different situation to us though.

Lerner and the Chinese Dr left you in a mess financially.

USM/Moshiri/Usmanov are completely different and have and will keep propping us up (unless the clowns in our fanbase have their way and chase them oot).
Yep, your owners have cash which is more than ours had, well, Lerner had cash but he didn't want to spend it anymore. The problem is that u would be subject to Profit & Loss as opposed to FFP. It is much stricter and allows for much less spend. You guys are close to FFP problems as it stands, the last thing u need is to be subject to P&S

9 goals conceded under Ancelotti for the whole season mate, under Benitez in 19 games it was 15 conceded and counting...obviously whatever he did on working on set pieces wasn't working.

Has he done anything since mate, asking for a friend. lol
He is a good squad player, works hard, puts in effort and is an amazing pen taker. I think he is a decent loan till the end of the season. He will be costing u very little (relatively) and he is a good guy. There is not too much to dislike about him but he is not going to set the world alight

I genuinely thought the 17/18 squad was as bad as it got for Everton quality wise in the prem since Moyes.

You look at some of the players now though. I’m fairly certain that Rooney and Gueye from that team walk into this midfield with ease. Tom Davies (in the form he was in then, not now) probably gets in as well. Walcott and Coleman the second half of that season probably also get in on our right hand side.

This current team is very poor. I don’t think we’ll get relegated but this is a bottom half outfit no doubt about it. We’ve not got a single midfielder who can put his foot on the ball to control tempo and our defence is a complete shambles.
Walcott was no better than Gordon is. We had a older nearly finished player that still had a bit of quality in James Benitez chased him out the door. DCL is a better player now then he was then. That team is just as bad as this team in my opinion. We miss Gana and we have missed him ever since we sold him I agree with that but I wouldn’t say there is much different and Gravy sam got us comfortably to safety.

He didn’t do anything I feel he failed in China got a easy job close to home. He didn’t try an get on the side of the fans once. He new when he had the job he was getting a massive pay out either way. He is a kopite always was always will be. Who ever thought it was a good idea to hire him. I hope they stand bare foot on a plug every night of there life.

The danger now is the players feeling it's all gone Pete Tong and opting out of the fight mentally.

We have to get at least a point at the Toon. If we lose the next couple then I fear we will just sink. You cross a line at some point where it becomes irretrievable. We are far from that but it's always been my concern with successive squads

We desperately need a break. An own goal, a dodgy penalty, anything.

If you were writing a movie script we would go down. It has all the ingredients. I sense the average Joe would like to see us go down out of a perverse fascination with the car crash we have made for ourselves.
