The quick reply box should be filled with a quote for you to edit when you click it. Then you need to remember to click Post Quick Reply instead of Reply to Thread.

how do you multi quote then ?

Use the multi quote button to make a list and use the reply with quote button to bring it all up.......

when I try to multi quote from other threads or even same thread but previous page it doesn't work and makes me feel sad

You need to go to advanced and click on the comment that comes up to include the quote from another post..
