Theres some serial killer called Richard Ramirez. Apparently there are pre-arrest profiles regarding him - you know, the "The killer is likely to be male, aged between 18-60, likely to live with his parents, angry-cal-like tendencies" etc

Anyway, I cant find it and need it to analyse. Any chance one of you clever lot could give me advice? Standard google searches are letting me down. Help me obi-one kenobi, you're my only hope....

Not sure how you define pre-arrest profile but these sites have his biography from birth onwards.

richard ramirez biography - Google Search

Profile as in - prediction of what the offender would be like prior his arrest. So during his spree, someone will have advised the police what the offender is most likely to be like

you willing to pay for it?

"night stalker" california profile - Google News Archive Search

also, you may be able to use a user agent switcher to get around paying for it, i haven't tried it but it might work

Thanks a lot mate. Will browse through all that and hopefully find one, will get them to pay for it if I can find it

it was the victims who did, they were gonna call him "the fruit stalker" but it made him sound like a part of the fruit, so didnt sound so sinister.

you can feel free to quote me in your thesis danny

Just had a quick look and the best i can find is the same LA times link already posted.

"Night Stalker" Richard RamirezRichard Ramirez: - Valley Intruder - Walk-In Killer - Night StalkerRichard Ramirez: - Valley Intruder - Walk-In Killer - Night Stalker

These links are the best i can find. Cannot actually find a profile of the killer based on the crimes though, have a read of them links if you want. But i've read a lot of books about criminal profiling by ex FBI guys and don't remember reading anything related to Ramirez.

Your best bet if nothing else works is pick up a book about the case.

These 2 could serve you well : "Douglas, John E., Ann W. Burgess, Allen G. Burgess, and Robert K. Ressler. Crime Classification Manual. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass. 1992."

and

"Harris, Michael D. "Personality Spotlight—Richard Ramirez: Convicted 'Night Stalker' Killer." UPI, 20 September 1989."

This link talks a lot about profiling if you read on and other cases but not about Ramirez unfortunatly, could be worth reading all of it.

Night Stalker: A Shocking Story of ... - Google Book Search

Detective Sergeant Frank Salerno seems to be the man in charge who spoke to the FBI in regards to gaining a profile, just cant find any evidence of that profile. Which probably means unless it was in that LA Times link or a specific book on the case it was never actually publically published at the time.
