Q. There has been lengthy discussion on Evertons proposed ground move to Kirkby, now we just want numbers! So assuming that the new stadium design met your approval and isn't just a big lump of soulless plastic (like Boltons Reebok stadium) Would you be in favour of the Kirkby ground move?

The above question was given to our visitors for a week. Out of 494 votes cast, the majority voted in favour of a ground move to Kirkby.

In favour: 255 votes (51.62%)
Not in favour: 239 votes (48.38%)

Without any real PR effort from Everton or any detailed designs, the results perhaps show an early indication that if a polling system was put into place, then the majority would vote in favour? What do you think? Register and leave comments below...

Thanks to everyone who voted.

That is a fair sample for ant random test of opinion. It was closer than expected but the club must do what they see best and, to prevent a lot of blood letting, the majority must pull with the club no matter what, a big division will do no one any good.

I don't believe a vote is necessary, its obvious kenwright is being too nice and for once on this issue he needs to be a [Poor language removed] and just move, do it!

We have moved before and moved out of the city every time I don't see why it should be any different now.

the vote is an excuse.

stadium is built, no one likes it, the team performances drop, maybe we lose a player or two, then suddenly -'we never should have moved from goodison'

answered by 'well i gave you lot a vote and the majority were for it'

passing the buck, shifting the blame, golden parachutes, call it what you like.
