I think he (and DCL) would benefit from having a proper challenge to their places.

King isn't that, Kean might be (especially if PSG win the CL) but we'd still need someone else to scare them into playing well consistently for fear of losing their places.

A big massive great white shark would sort it. Stick it in a paddling pool at FF and threaten anyone who isn't performing.

We'd end up with 3 players left after a week and 2 of them would be Delph and Gbamin due to injury.

All things considered, and remembering how he so generously agreed to give us one more year, he's been utterly pathetic this season. Wouldn't even be able to recoup our money imo if we were to sell.

In all comps he has 12 goals and 3 assists in 33 appearances mate. Wouldn't call that "utterly pathetic". Bit knee jerk no? He also still has 7 games left to play and I'm near sure he only needs to score 3 and assist 1 more to match his numbers from last season.

12 goals in 33 appearances is woeful. At his age he's supposed to be improving year on year, yet he's regressed this season, in my opinion.

“WTF did we sign that shark for? FFS the half eaten Brands carcass”

Haha what man? That's a goal every 2.75 games. Let's round it off at 1 in 3. Add in his assists and he's assisting or scoring almost every 1 in 2 games? I mean the only way that could get better is to be doing it every game in which case he wouldn't be at Everton. He's not Messi lad and it's not a game of Fifa. He's 23 also. There's room for improvement on this season of course but to say he's been utterly pathetic when he's scoring better than 1 in 3 is a knee jerk lie.

I think he needs some time on the sideline to compose himself and do some super sub appearances but obviously that's not a viable option with a scrawny baby faced undeveloped player as an alternative oh wait he's injured anyway

Could we not play a front three, like other teams seem to do, or does Rodriguez count as one of our three? We do need another class forward who can play any position up front, pact, who can score his fair share. Though I admit, these are premium players who cost a packet.

Wouldn't need a shark if we didn't tame and domesticate Duncan. Maybe Gomes or Davies wouldn't errantly pass the ball out of bounds if a potential punitive headlock or chokehold was incoming , instead he just smiles and sets up cones it's very depressing
