Crowds braved the cold to pay tribute to "Busby Babe" Albert Scanlon, whose funeral has taken place in Salford.
The former Manchester United winger, who survived the Munich air disaster, died last month. He was 74.

Met Albert a few times a sad day

A legend down to earth working class bloke

May he rest in peace

Here here, i know how down i was when we left Bally and Labby and i never even saw them play live. Always sad when you lose a club legend.

Evening Davek

Last night cheered me up no end

Nev - when is Hargreaves back? I know it's supposed to be 'soon' but is that what we Evertonian's call an 'Arteta soon'?

You could do with him as much as any striker. Someone who works their bollocks off and maybe allows others to get forward and support that attack. I think Chelsea are catchable and I hope United have had their [Poor language removed] patch and push on for #19 - just to turn the screw even further on those daft [Poor language removed]. (y)

Totally agree Davek Owen Hargreaves is now training with United's reserves mate so fingers crossed

A lot of people 'United fans' (Inverted Comas) included are writing us off

The number 19 for me and all the real fans is just well you know the score

**** the Champions League

Number 19 (y)

'Bad season' for United this: point behind Chelsea with just half a season left. You'll never catch them. And you've got no experience chasing teams down.

Seriously, though, I think losing both game changing players of Tevez and Ronaldo's class was an alarming development. The likes of Wellbeck and Owen have to find form and place more pressure on your starting forwards. If anyone can get United home though, Fergie can.
