I hadn't seen anything in the press, when did he die and what of, he couldn't have been 70 yet. he was a Bebington lad, came to us from Port Sunlight. He was the only one to survive the 50's era and go one to win championship and fa cup medals with us, a true blue. He was initially replaced in the team by Tony Kay but got his place back following Kay's banning. Sad news, saw him play loads of times, never spectacular but a totally honest and consistent competitor who wore the badge with true blue pride and passion, RIP Brian
