Didn't he once get an injury from hiding in a wardrobe watching his mate 'entertain' a young lady friend? Or was that someone else?

Up there with Rodney Marsh, Tony Currie and our own Duncan McKenzie. Playing amazing football on terrible pitches. Happy memories of growing up watching those players. RIP Frank.

I remember him at Tranmere, they used to play on Friday nights back then, was only about 1.50 to get in, went many times in the 80s 4th division days, he took over from Bryan Hamilton (former EFC) top player and his only stint as a manager RIP

He was a true maverick. I saw him get sent off for Birmingham at Goodison in 1980. We still only managed a draw.
