Great cook, great tv trail blazer, great drinker, great follower of his passions. I was gutted like I had not been for some time when I first found out. Watched 'Keith meets Keith' on channel four last week and had no idea how drink (and it turns out bowel cancer) had ravaged him. Only 65, he looked and moved like a 90 year old. Very sad. A British icon.
