Should Robert Green be dropped for the next England game vs Algeria?

He has to be dropped really, otherwise Joe Hart may as well just go home now.

I would drop him.

He'll probably only be dropped if David James is fit.

Capello went off Hart when he insisted on hoofing it up field every time he got the ball - he insists the keeper plays the simple ball and keep possession. He bollocked him in one of the recent friendlys.

Joe Hart is the best pick of the three. Capello better wake up quick and make the change. The British media is always to quick to build up the national team to tear it down with equal vigor.

Can Lampard & Gerrard really play together in midfield? To me the team concept isn't there it's like a bunch of individual millionaires doing their own thing. I hope the team rallies and begin to learn to lean on each other before the next stage. Slovenia and Algeria look lacking The Sun has that part right "EASY"

Thank god we have Everton and a total team emphasis under Moyes.

No he shouldn't be dropped.

Now i've said before on here how highly i rate Joe Hart, he is the best English keeper. But he is inexperienced at a high level and still a young kid really in goalkeeping terms.

And that has to come into play which is why i think Capello went with Green.

And now he has made his choice he should stick with it. Is he gonna drop Heskey because he missed a 1 on 1? No.

Green manned up and got on with the game and i think has put that 1 very slight error behind him.

And even an idiot wouldn't drop Green for making a gaffe and then bring in "Calamity" James.

In this level of football that was very sloppy. I'd drop him like a hot brick and get Hart in. All the top teams would have seen that and they'll be hoping if they meet us that Green is in goal. Dissapointing to say the least.

The ball is awful, but it played no part what so ever in that goal! It was an out and out keeper error, nothing else.
