Davek is nothing but a wind-up. He loves the attention that he is getting. He doesn't even believe the bollocks he comes out with.

We all know that Martinez isn't good enough. I think everybody who has half a brain cell knows that he is completely out of his league at Everton.
Code:
I cant get my own way on the manager, so I'll throw me toys out of the pram and call people names

Whoah, whoa...that line about having the best squad since the 80s was used in relation to Moyes' team of around 2005/09.

He wasn't sacked either.

Because from the 90s, it was pretty gash. Therefore any squad that was comfortablely midtable was the best squad since the 80s

And Moyes had a bigger rebuild job than Martinez...who has now started to undo what was built.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I don't understand the fervor among some on here to keep Martinez. Don' t you want the very best for your club? Can two successive mid table finishes be classed as the best?

Lads, lads. We've heard all this new manager talk for about 18 months. What makes you think midtable and two cup SFs is the basis for a different outcome?

I know that some of you tend to post when we get beat and think you have to strike while the iron is hot to stir up a lynch mob, but really, it's not happening. Not now. Not in the summer. Maybe next autumn if the start to next season is bad...and even then only if we fail to left the cup this season.

That ^^^ is as close to reality as you can get imo.

If i couold honestly be bothered and had a spare hour Dave, would go through how many statements you have made with such conviction that proved complete and utter bollox within a few months

Except Moyes actually had that squad performing at the level of the best Everton squad for 20 years. This current squad is performing at the level of a Walter Smith side
...oh yeah, that'll be why Martinez came along and used them to get a record 72 points out of them the season after he left.

He saved the club from relegation and built the squad up from nothing to a regular top 6/7 team.
He did this on a very small budget. He earned the right to some time. Roberto has started with the club in a very different position. The league place is fact and the supposed quality of squad and player ore rial is a matter of opinion.

Any for just his EVERTON record?

Cheers.

When it's time added on to time added on, the reason for conceding is less about fitness than psychology. Players get anxious and flap. Twas ever thus

Up to date possession figures suggest we're about 8th or 9th in terms of playing with the ball. But your figures on distance run are hopelessly flawed as they use stats from between August to October. What is the current state of play on that? You're assuming an awful lot here about lack of fitness from stats that are 5 months old!

Well I recall a lot of post match reports peppered with commentary that his personnel and formation changes in-game were winning us games. So maybe we can trade one perception off there against the other (though I feel sure most would agree that was the general biew in his first season here).

You haven't read my post properly I gave you stats from August to October and also from last 10 games! We're covering more distance in last 10 games because as I said we've been working harder (obviously not today!) but we're still some way behind Spurs.

Late goals - I'm sure psychology plays a part here but if you're fitter I think you are better able to cope mentally all round.
