I've just seen this on twitter, that's bad if it's accurate.
Fewest #EFC home League points in a season (using 3pts/win): 16 - 2015/16 (3 h games left) 24 - 1957/58 1888/89 25 - 1929/30 1996/97 1896/97

18 months of poor performances and excuses. Last year was blamed on Europe, player revolt. This year's excuse is "building his squad", even though it's been built, this is his team with his players

...it's holding back?

Lol.

I hadn't noticed.

Mosyt of the lynch mob, btw, goes back in the box after the next win.

Plus ca change.
They literally do not Dave. Most the people even on here are saying "we won, and we support the team, but if we fail in the cup it's bye bye Martinez hopefully".

I fail to understand how you're so selectively blind to those statements. This thread WAS used quite a lot between our wins as well, and praise was given, and everyone, me included, said "let's hope he's learned from his mistakes and the same appear rarely/never again". Which is literally what hasn't happened - I predicted a similar score yesterday to friends, even said we'll probably play absolutely dire. Guess what happened? And guess what happens if me, a fan, knows what will happen - do you think other managers don't have us sussed out at this point?

And now, as I've asked you 50 times already and you've ignored it 50 times - what will happen if we were to lose said SF, essentially rendering this season a drawback for us (finishing lower in the league than last league's dreadful position, no finals in any cup, no Europa this time to use as an excuse)?

You keep asking the same thing, so I'll repeat the same answer to this question:

We have a new owner who has invested nearly £200m. That in itself indicates that he isn't willing to settle for mediocrity. The old regime no longer holds the power. You also look at the situation in a very superficial manner. People who have millions invested and actually run the club will look more deeply than 'midtable and 2 SF's'. Semi finals mean nothing unless you win the cup. We've had one semi final and were soundly beaten. We've yet to play the other semi. They'll consider the atmosphere within the team itself and Martinez's limitations will be placed under more scrutiny because we've conceded more goals than anyone else. They'll note the large number of home defeats and small number of home wins as well as the fan disquiet at EVERY home game and worry about season ticket sales for next year.

I could go on, but I think I've comprehensively answered your shallow question.

Without trying to sound too pedantic here.

He valued the club at £175m, and paid the equal price for 49.9%, meaning he's only spent £87.5m so far, but i expect him to hopefully do the deal and sack Martinez.

It's being generous calling ourselves mid table, we are a bottom half side. Even if we win the cup he should lose his job, the last two seasons have been dire.

Don't you know that it's the home fans fault.

How long will the blame be on us, the fans?

It's like were Chelsea... and Martinez and the players are Liverpool.

Wonder if we start singing 'Always the victims, it's never your fault' at the Derby will be directed at the players? or the Kopites?

Now I know you are on a windup. He has lost a complete season of games in being here for nearly three Dave.
Hold on, you were giving me the whole period he's been here! I provided the breakdown.

As said, 45% = very acceptable for any PL manager in the job a few seasons. That's how good the first season was, btw, that it pulls up the next two seasons....but some can't even give credit for that.
