Did anyone pay attention to the actual players? Sir Alex Ferguson in his pomp wouldn't be able to get a tune out of that rabble of bellends today. They couldn't pass a ball.

My intractable misgivings regarding R Martinez have been well announced. Today just lends further evidence toward them. He is not the man to take Everton forward...he will relegate us in fact. I dislike him intensely. He's clueless...and his cultists are clueless as well.
I love you too mate. Evertonians insulting fellow supporters. Everton that.

Hold on, you were giving me the whole period he's been here! I provided the breakdown.

As said, 45% = very acceptable for any PL manager in the job a few seasons. That's how good the first season was, btw, that it pulls up the next two seasons....but some can't even give credit for that.

Lads. Honest to God, everyone wanted better home form this season, it is NOT good to see the home form shambles.

Howver, a midtable position and two cup runs to at least the SF spots and some are believing that gets you the sack!

Sorry, give your heads a wobble. Not happening. Your favourite hacks and 'experts' might provide you with some comfort and an echo chamber for your prejudices, but no one at Evetton FC are pulling triggers over that season record....and it could get much better in the FA Cup.

That ^^^ needs to be accepted.

Where's the we got to 2 Semi Finals trophy dave?

R Martinez will, unless he's sacked pronto, take us down to the Championship level (just like he did for Wigan), when-upon he will announce "I am not the man to take the team back up" (just like he did at Wigan).
Biggest fraud, best snake oil salesman.
He's a shocking manager ...and, to my way of thinking, the cultists who support his continued tenure assume fifth columnist status .

Dave I respect you immensely and we've both defended RM.

However, this league form is dreadful.

The cup runs are great and I want us to carry them on.

But consistently, over the course of a league season, Martinez doesn't have the ability or, at least, humility, to see that this is going very, very wrong.

That team today stinked of a side that knew it wouldn't be together much longer.

Well, at least were in a position to win a trophy this season. Only 6 teams at present are in that exclusive club in England.

Yes that's fantastic, we could well win the trophy, would love it. Having said that, should we go out in the semi would you class this season a success?
