I think we all know our season comes down to the SF. The league is not in play. It's gone as a competitive matter. End of story.

The faux rage might continue regarding 1-0 defeats away at OT, but we all know deep down that the cup semi result will determine matters.

I honestly dont know why you waste your time whinging about something that isn't in play. "oooh he's just said this and he's just said that...". Embarrassing.

Get beat in the SF - yes, absolutely I could understand frustration. But we haven't been...and I think we all have a big feeling we'll be at Wembley in may for the final.

Keep telling yourself that mate. Because you know what, 'ifs and buts' are not good enough for this football club and its supporters.

It's not just because of a bad run of results noweveryone is having 'faux rage' it's after 2 years of inept tactics and game management.

Time for Mythinez to go now, he's not fooling anybody anymore. I wanted him to succeed, honestly but it's just not happening and football is a results business at the end of the day.

Not seen any of the game so can't pass judgement but if I was Mr Moshiri I would be popping into FF tomorrow for a meeting with Roberto and give him his P45 on the spot, reaching both domestic cup semi finals cannot in any way save him from this now. When even the club captain is saying they can't find a way out of this slump then action needs to be taken

You wouldn't think there was an away Derby left would you.

And at least one of the people saying it didn't matter rightly slaughtered Moyes for putting out a shadow team a week before the Sunderland cup game.

The booing has now gone from those nasty, naughty, toxic home fans... And has spread to those nasty, naughty, toxic away fans (who spend all that extra dosh to watch us win *gasp* five away games)

I still think we'll win the semi - I naively thought we'd win today - but against United and West Ham we are played four (?) lost three this season and both of them are in form. It's a monster task and a lot of eggs in one basket.

Yep, all that..and some making the potential error of talking about the final already, which is hopeful.

Irony being they're the same people chastising others for looking too far ahead in relation to poss neg results.

It's all about the standards Orls innit, and how double they are in places...

Page long article in the Times today by Souness on Lukaku and Everton. Basically he is saying with out Rom's goals we would be in a relegation fight, it is him that has kept us out of it. His article was also inferring RM was not good enough pointing out that in 7 years of managing a PL club only once has he had his team in the upper half of the table and that was his first season at Everton.
It's obvious stuff - Moyes was always short of a top quality striker - bringing Lukaku in solved that (all credit to RM) and hence the great run in RMs first season. But he's on another planet when it comes to defence unfortunately - he hasn't fixed it over the last couple of seasons. If not sorted by the end of this season he should go

I expected a big reaction after the Arsenal game with players and manager both wanting to show some passion.

But, though we started brightly enough today, many on the pitch just didn't seem to be that arsed.

Tis a problem, and it needs sorting.
Imagine if we do what we HAVE done in the last 180 minutes after you've travelled all the way from up here to Wembley to witness it.

Martinez has come out and said he takes his inspiration to stay from a certain fan on here. He was ready to take the Barcelona job in wildest Peru until he read the certain fan's heartfelt posts on here

Martinez doesn't have it in him to win at anfield, that one's a no starter.

You know I honestly never thought we could find a manager who was actually worse at derbies than moyes but we've managed it.

Can't wrap my head around why anyone still wants him in. Things keep getting worse with every passing game. Swansea a point away from us now. Can only see the semi final being a disaster whilst he's in charge. Should have been shown the door after the city semi.

...after this season's game vs Leicester for me.
That was the point I jumped off the fence and became a plotter.
