It is how the team sets up. We can only play one way, on the counter attack, everyone sat deep apart from two of the best attacking talents in the PL.
You can do this away from home to decent effect as teams play with mor confidence at home and there is an expectation fromt heir own fans for them to get on the ball and make something happen.
When we are at home that same expectation exists and the away side are sitting deep looking to counter. This is where we see the complete failure of the Martinez project with us having no idea what to do when we have to play on the front foot and break teams down. We therefore started to start playing on the counter attack at home (embarrassing) but even this failed with the recent West Ham and Arsenal games being examples of two decent sides who we let have the ball and they punished us with it.
