You know i think it's pretty sad that so called Everton "fans" have made their mind up on Martinez and won't budge despite any evidence contrary to that opinion.

It wasn't owt to do with the fact that he "chased" Baines and Felllaini, Paul, it was the insulting remarks he made about our club which has led to him becoming personna non grata to many of us, not to mention the derisory two for the price of one offer he made for them.

Bobby, on the other hand, was very gentlemanly in his dealings with Wigan as he negotiated to buy players who were not going to stay with a relegated club anyway.

So, Bobby won the Cup at Wigan and then "done one"?

If only we could say the same about Mr. Moyes.......he won nowt with us before he done one.

As for Wigan.......they were always going to be relegated at some stage in the near future.

The miracle is they actually got to the EPL in the first place, never mind hanging around for so long.

Moyes was wise enough to know that things were stale at the club. He couldnt do anymore without financial backing from the board, we spent 10 years arguing this case and now people act like he done a redknapp, spent lots of money and buggered off leaving us in a mess. Martinez and his style was not working at wigan, his style of olay has its days like the fa cup win shows but over 38 games it wasnt good enough. I fancy is to win a cup more than finishing top 5. Simply because his style of play is a carbon copy consistency wise from his wigan days, difference is he has better players here.

Again moyes made negative remarks about the move for baines and fellaini yet we all sat here two years ago saying that wigan were out of order for asking £13m for mccarthy. How dare little relegated wigan take us to the cleaners !

Mate you can't even compare those three. One is our Catalan wizard, as @davek quite often points out. One is responsible for the making of the Yard Dogs- er Stoke. And one is Sam Allardyce.

People had doubts over Martinez because he got wigan relegated.
Yet its fine to have doubts over Allardyce who by the way got average bolton into europe and played decent football at west ham contrary to popular belief. Pulis built a poor football squad into a established premier league outfit. Yet its fine to cause murder over links to pulis and sam yet you have to be a plotter for doubting martinez ?
