Roberto Rodgers
Ive a slight feeling too 4 could be on for us this season with the Chelsea situation going on.

Make it so Bob

It could be on for a lot of clubs, West Ham, Spurs, Liverpool, Palace, Leicester, Southampton, all just as good a chance as us if not better, Chelsea will not get anywhere near 4th, so it is wide open, just a shame we have been letting points slip in the one season when you dont want to.

Why are you talking about Evertonian reaction to those two? They weren't appointed Everton manager were they? The point being made by others is that even when RM was installed as manager the doubters wouldn't leave it there...they continued, even unbelievably in the first season, to oppose his tenure. That's why they were called plotters in the first place. There's a difference between those people and those last winter who turned against Roberto. A massive difference that you dont seem to be able to grasp.

Okay then im open minded about other opinions, im arguing for the anti martinez even though i think he should be given time. I can see both sides but you cant. In order to open my eyes to the 'genuine plotters' send them my way and ill ask them why he hated him before he walked in and whilst he was doing well the first season. If there are people here who hate him when he is tackling the top four maybe i will understand why you wont let it go.

I don't understand why some people keep complaining about Martinez. He's here to stay for at least another 3 years. So deal with it. Your constant useless complaining isn't going to get him sacked.

How on earth do you expect to achieve the aims of the plot and get him sacked with a negative attitude like that?

We need to be positive mate, and with a little bit of luck we can get this clown out of our club and replace him with a manager who wants to score goals from corners.

Ok, I'll bear all that in mind. :coffee:

I worry about them, tbf.

They pray we get beat every game so RM is sacked. That cant be healthy. I wouldn't mind if they had a manager in mind who could do a better job than El Gaffer, but all they seem to come up with is Harry Redknapp, Nigel Pearson, Tim Sherwood and Sean Dyche.

Harry Redknapp, Nigel Pearson, Tim Sherwood and Sean Dyche.

Redknapp : Division 1 and 3 winner, FA cup and 4th place PL finish (more successful than Martinez), higher win ratio than Martinez.

Pearson : Won league 1 (equal with Martinez) and higher win ratio than Martinez.

Sherwood : PL winner as a player (more than Martinez) and a higher win ratio than Martinez.

Dyche : I agree, ridiculous suggestion.

It's almost as though you don't want Everton to be successful dave, preferring to back a clown to the death than admit you're wrong and we would be better off with one of the superior managers named above.

And i haven't even mentioned Alan "football league trophy winner and better win ratio than Martinez" Pardew yet.

So that's that established then. You want Harry Redknapp or Tim Sherwood to be manager of Everton.

I dont think they should be, tbh. But everyone's entitled to their choice.
