Roberto Martinez discussion

Not sure about this bit mate.
Please mate explain. To me fans who are not happy with Martinez are being roundly criticised AND goaded.

All I want is for Everton to win on a regular basis we have won 15 of our last 48 games that means of the last 48 match days we have gone 33 without winning THIRTYTHREE.

Fans who go to the home games have witnessed us win only 9 of the LAST 27 HOME games in the league

Yet fans who now or have never wanted Martinez are being roundly criticised and names called from 'Pondlife' to 'clowns' to 'Bells' to 'Plotters'

What sort of a fan wants his/her team to win?

He is wasting the best squad of my Everton supporting life

So excuse me for being pissed off with him.

I will always be critical of your opinion on the manager because you didn't want him from the beginning and you have taken every opportunity to criticise him...even when things were going well. I won't name call, and I do appreciate your honesty, but you posting with an agenda since he arrived is not sound.

End of the day I do think he's good enough, an improvement on Moyes, and needs to be given time.

I hope you were as critical of Moyes when he finished 16th and 11th in 2 of his first 4 seasons. I hope you were as critical in all those years that we got off to worst starts then we've gotten off to this season. There were plenty of them.

Pro-Martinez posters get the mick taken out of them too, it's just the internet.

I think stats like that win ratio can be misleading. This season has not been like last season at all. If we beat Sunderland and West Ham, we are challenging for the top 6 again, with a load of really tough fixtures played, with Baines, Cleverley and Pienaar coming back and we're in with a great shout at a cup semi.

We might not get 6 points from those two games, but it's not exactly a far-fetched idea as we often get wins from those fixtures. With that in mind, is it really all doom and gloom? Let's see how we do against the weaker sides over the next couple of months before we get concerned about wasting great squads.

It was 17th and 11th and I was pissed off then and I'm pissed off now, remember we all had to put up with the 2nd season but in the 3rd we were on 20+ points by now and that was when all we did was whack it long at every opportunity, I clearly remember Thomas Gravesen booting it long, that is the reason Real Madrid wanted him because of his bootability. I also remember that fraud Moyes not finishing outside the top 8 post 05/06 with much worse squads than we currently have. Although you'll never admit that.

I remember that hand away at Villa AND Swansea in Moyes' last season when we won 3-1 & 3-0 when we just kept knocking it long, I remember being absolutely disgusted that day, disgusted. I remember Moyes last home game and that first goal scored by Miralls when we just threw it in the mixer. I remember all of the bad times, I remember when Everton fans were within their rights to set up a website that illustrated how our then manager went over 2yrs without being able to sign a 1st team player.

Moyes deserved a public flogging for that.

But wait.........everyone wait a minute

If you always thought that the last 16 months would be the norm with a atrocious 15 wins from our last 48 games then you are a plotter you are a disgrace you are not an Evertonian that's for sure, how could you be?

But if you are happy with 'Bobby' (cringe) in the first place but have since changed your mind then that's OK.

GREAT LOGIC.

Let's. But at the moment all we can do is speculate. And unfortunately as things stand I can't see us finishing above the usual top6 and Leicester West Ham Southampton or palace

That's reason for concern as it means 11th at best

Why can't you post in a less inflammatory way?
