Roberto Martinez discussion

We all know West Ham. Leicester and Southampton will tail off. It's natural as they don't have the squad and are having a purple patch early doors.

Spurs are consistant but don't have the goals.

We should be up there.

To be be fair mate we have railed off already!!

West Ham and Southampton both got the Europa league spot on and got out early doors so they could have a go at 4th this season, didn't make the mistake we made. As for Leicester no reason why they cant push for at least a top 6 spot.
I think we just got a bit carried away a few weeks back because we beat Chelsea, something which turned out to be standard for pretty much anyone.

I love this thread.
It seems to perfectly encapsulate the internet, two wholly polarised sides who on a daily basis rip into the other side for being unable to see their points, whilst simultaneously doing exactly the same. Hilarious stuff, an all around circle jerk with people unable to acknowledge that there might be some validity to the differing opinions that they hold and that there isn't a right or wrong, only different shades of grey.
Whatever side of the argument you fall, whatever opinion you hold doesn't make you more or less of an Evertonian. To say so is just absurd.

As for Martinez, the man's done some good stuff and some bad stuff.
Up until now he's done enough for me to keep my support, but will need to make some changes in order to keep that support.
For me supporting a manager is based on two things.
Can he learn from his mistakes and make the right decisions based on those mistakes, and can he improve us.
If Martinez cannot learn from the mistakes he's made and will continue to make throughout his time with us, then he won't have my support any longer. Simple as that.

He's built quite a good team with just a few areas that need improvement, but needs to show that he's learnt how to break teams down that sit back. This next period of games will be key.
Top 7 finish is what I expect him to achieve as a minimum this year. The players are good enough to get there.
Well put Mr Kiwi he has done good and bad.
I just hope he sorts the tactics and gets us playing high tempo attacking football again whilst winning.

We all know he'll struggle to break Sunderland down, and make one sub, and another one with twenty seconds left, the joys of watching big Sam tactically out think martinez is something I don't want to watch today...

Leicester, West Ham and Southampton will all tail off as teams in there position ALWAYS do after a promising start, they haven't got the depth of squad to sustain a top 4 push and lack any consistency to maintain a top 6 challenge once the season gets into the last quarter - and they ALWAYS tail off and come in around 7-12th

You sure about that?

They have been knocking them in lately......five at Bournemouth last week, four against City a few weeks back.

Should be sacked if he doesn't win today and rightly so

Judge him after 10 games... Bottom Half Bobby strikes again

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If he wins today, new contract
