Roberto Martinez discussion

I'd rather Everton play good football and draw than see a scrappy odd goal win playing poorly. Football is an art form and spectacle when all is said and done.
Hi mate.

Is their a particular reason you know of, that I don't BTW, that we can't have both?

Blimey west brom on the same points as us with norwich only 3 behind you better get it sorted el coco or you could be off sooner than you expected

Unfortunately he's made it imperative we beat two of Chelsea, city or Spurs now, not just to keep within a small chance of Europe but actually to stop us potentially being dragged into trouble if results go against us. Just working on defence and being slightly more pragmatic when winning, that's all it is, not a huge change in style

He spent about that on one player, Angel Di Maria, after being there about two months.

Come on man, a little bit of research goes a long way.

"research"

This is a message board, my good man.....not a faculty at John Moores.

Now go "research" properly and tell me exactly how much Van Gaal spent in his first nine months and compare it to what Wee Davey spent.

I am reckoning the latter forked out £65 million on Big Felli and Wee Juan.

I don't know if he bought anyone else.

We need a few wins from somewhere mate because we are sliding the wrong way

...and see us hobble along in the EL and PL again like last season? No thanks. If we qualify for Europe it has to be for something worthwhile. The CL spots or nothing. We're best focussing on the two domestic cups and playing open attacking football in the PL...which is basically this season in a nutshell.

Well, Dave.....by that logic you won't want to see us lift a Cup at Wembley then.

Because if we do, we wind up in the EL again same as if we finish 5th.

Embrace it, Dave :)

We want to be there as it is a measure of success.

football is a results business. beatiful football with no end result always ends in tears. theres no chance martinez will go before the summer. if naismith leaves surely he has a replacement in mind
