football is a results business. beatiful football with no end result always ends in tears. theres no chance martinez will go before the summer. if naismith leaves surely he has a replacement in mind
A new owner with a new brush you never know.
Come february/march if we are in the bottom 5 he will be gone

"research"

This is a message board, my good man.....not a faculty at John Moores.

Now go "research" properly and tell me exactly how much Van Gaal spent in his first nine months and compare it to what Wee Davey spent.

I am reckoning the latter forked out £65 million on Big Felli and Wee Juan.

I don't know if he bought anyone else.

Well, you've got Herrera, Shaw, Danny Blind and Di Maria alone in his first summer, so that's north of £110m, just the £50m more.

Oh dear, that's your agenda blown right out of the water (again), too desperate to suck up to Dave to get your facts right.

But hey, you can join your six-fingered friend @hullefc in being wrong again... and again... and again...

Well, Dave.....by that logic you won't want to see us lift a Cup at Wembley then.

Because if we do, we wind up in the EL again same as if we finish 5th.

Embrace it, Dave :)

We want to be there as it is a measure of success.
I wouldn't mind that at all, because THE goal would be achieved: silverware. We're desperate for a trophy, and a EL campaign makes that less likely, diverting resources and placing strains on our squad.

How's your research going into explaining why we have only conceded 9 away from home, which is the 6th best away record. Better than any other Everton manager at this stage of the season?

In your own time, dear chap.

But the most important thing for you is playing a decent style, and in fact that can be allowed to over ride any other consideration?

You can and have had both.
Exactly....so why do you say such things?

Are you preempting Martinez failures because he possibly can't provide both?

I know you'll probably be thinking 13/14....but if you are, you should be aware that you have mentioned our change, in terms of style of play since 13/14. So what was wrong with the play of 13/14 and why aren't we winning games now if we are playing football 'touched by the gods' do you know the answer...obviously it won't be Martibez fault, so what is it?

Also what is the average points jail for a 11th placed finish? I ask because you mentioned you wouldn't care if we finished 11th I'd just like to know how many more points would be acceptable this season as a MINIMUM for YOU

I want an everton side that fulfils its potential. This group could be doing a fair bit better. The buck always stops with the manager.

Sometimes they have to make alterations such as going defensive for a little bit, picking a less attacking formation or dropping an out of form player. If a manager is dogmatically against them things while it costs points then he isn't good enough for Everton. Simple as that.
