I am very positive about Martinez - he is the opposite of Red Moyes when it comes to tactics -
he plays with a back 3 which made Wigan vulnerable because they lacked quality players in defence - something Everton can offer-
but it is on attack where Martinez showed quality - Wigan have scored more beautiful goals than Everton this season -
Martinez is a very positive person and makes good connection with players on the pitch - he is almost like a non playing captain on the sideline -
he is a fantastic talent scout - just look what he achieved with McMannaman - a player that was released by Red Moyes and developed into a much better right wing than Everton has -
I hope he gets the job - he will have my full support - come on Everton gone are the Moyesdays when all we played for was not to lose - May Martinez teach Everton to play for a win again

As I said before, I think Martinez is intelligent and articulate. Whether he is going to be a success is open to debate but it seems BK has chosen so we'll just have to get behind the team.

Everton to me is like my daughter, no one is good enough !!!!every mistake I will be overly critical of, will be worried about his flaws rather than his strengths, but in the end I will have accept it, so if its roberto then welcome to everton, but if you hurt us then beware.

Are you enamoured with our prospective new boss, Mr. B?

I must say I an very enthusiastic about Mr. Martinez.

Don't see the point in being negative about it tbh mate, as it now looks like he's 99% likely to be our new manager. All i know is we're more likely to win those one off games which are the difference between winning a trophy and not winning one for nearly 20 years.

If Martinez is appointed our new manager, as a fanbase we should get behind him and at least give him a chance.

This will be a new chapter for everyone at Everton, and hopefully be a successful one.

It takes the Man U link away - if PN goes as a coach there as reported, a new era - if Martinez comes BK "I knew he was for EFC as soon as I met him" quote - it worked the last time with DM - if he does come lets welcome him with gratitude as he will hopefully have a better team especially defenders & is known to pluck out cheap players from abroad = ideal for a small transfer kitty!

how about if your daughter became manager?

Although I would have preferred someone of a higher calibre than Martinez he's young and ambitious and hopefully he'll be able to develop into a good manager here. After all, everyone has to make their name somewhere, why can't Martinez do it here? The only real reservations I have about Martinez is that he might be a bit too nice so he might not have that killer instinct and he plays that stupid 3-5-2 formation, I don't like it because it sacrifices too much of the defense and it leaves the wings very vulnerable but at the end of the day I don't really care, as long as it wins us games and improves us in the long run I'm happy.
