Big Rom's a boss slotter but his close-ball control needs work. Similar to how Seamus needs to work on his crosses.
Kinda like a belgian Micky Quinn

We press from the front, with richarlison, sigurdsson, and Bernard putting the graft in. We might carry him very well. The reason he has not performed at utd is because as a team they don't get about the pitch enough. They're 4th from bottom in terms of km covered, if I remember correctly. That exposes the weakness in his game. And how do you think the attacking midfielders will do?
Well.... we know the answer to that. Not very well.
He can't be carried.... literally. The centre forward needs to be able to play football.... Pep was going to offload Aguero if he didn't drop and help the build up play or press from the front. What makes you think we could excuse lukaku those duties?

It's about balance, though. We currently have a striker who presses well but is not a prolific goalscorer. Lukaku is lazy but can score when given the chance. In an ideal world you'd want a striker who does both, but they would be at Real or Barca and worth over £150m.You can't press from the front and have a passenger ... he will always allow the pressed defender an option to pass to. It's all or nothing. Watch defenders on the ball when lukaku plays.... they stroll the ball out.

He was top scorer in the league a couple of seasons ago, so fruitless is not an accurate description. The fact that lukaku doesn't have the ability to press, the fitness or the ability hold up the ball makes his supposed finishing fruitless.
If it was 1994 he would be ok. But it's not.
He's not fat, he's big boned.some people have a propensity to get bigger as they age. perhaps Rom is one of those. I suspect he eats very healthy foods and exercises rigorously...but genetics might play a part.
He's always been a big lad. I recall seeing a pic of him in an under 13 tournament...he was man-sized then. He dwarfed the other lads playing. He's not fat, he's big boned.
He's never been top scorer in the league. He was top scorer in the league a couple of seasons ago, so fruitless is not an accurate description.
