INCORRECT. Last christmas you predicted that leicester would fall away from the top of the prem and finish mid-table at best, and as for bourne out by events, they maybe struggling in the prem due to having a limited squad. They are in the last 16 of the champions league, something our last manager will never achieve
Struggling because they lost Kante to Chelsea who seem heirs apparent
Kante is a brilliant footballer, the new Makelele.
Leicester deservedly won the league last season because they had Kante

Ha Ha. Mate, the Johan Cruyff Shield doesn't count. And take out the Dutch SPL titles.

Oh goody, I was hoping you would reply.

Its not my list, so dont blame me Dave.

There are seven managers in the league next season who have yet to win a trophy (Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce, Aitor Karanka, Mark Hughes, Mauricio Pochettino, Tony Pulis and Slaven Bilic), the rest are littered with silverware.

So thats 7 names hes instantly "better" than.

And then this wonderful piece ranks him higher than Conte.

TalkSPORT means that list is null n void

I really think people have to realise just how much spending it will take to break the top 4.

Arsenal have the 4th highest wage bill for example.

Now we could sign 20 players tomorrow, put them all on 100k per week, and our wage bill would still be nowhere near Arsenal.

That's the size of the mountain. And that's before we even consider we are net spend in the transfer market, which would need to increase on an unprecedented scale.
Yep. And so you then you have to rely on a man who can BUILD a squad to make the up that gap. That sound like this current manager to you?

What for stating the truth that some are not good enough, we are not talking about kids here they are professionals earning a fortune, my expectation between now and then would be for them to try and prove him wrong, if they can't they don't belong at the club.

Yes mate I'm sure they will now fight it out to prove hI'm wrong

I remember my boss telling me I was utter toilet at my job and the next day I was full of beans raring to go

I'll bet any money that when Koeman leaves our club our average finishing position is higher than Martinez'

Anyone got the bottle to bet?

But he's here to get us beyond where they both got us. I can't see it can you?
If I am honest it's too early for me to make my mind up right now, he certainly needs longer and I wouldn't expect too much from the current lot of players in all honesty, I think some of us need to start accepting our players are not as good as we think they are. I have not been excited so far but who knows we could start to see a turn around.

True that, but the cost of our squad today is still a lot less than any of the top 6. Therefore at the moment we should be 7th. However should we outspend united, city, spurs, Chelsea, arsenal and the other shower then your argument will be relevant. Until then, anything above 7th will be overachieving.
I never thought we were overachieving under Moyes when we were spending about 9th highest budget and we were getting 5th. If that dullard could make up the gap why can't this feller who's got less of a gap to bridge?

The clown RM had won a cup but it was undone by his liability...he managed to relegate Wigan and took Everton backwards. Koeman on the other hand got 6th and 7th with Soton and we are on course for the 7th place trophy so no doubt Koeman is the superior manager. League results said it all.
