Your question was sancitmonus.

Go see Newcastle United for a lesson on how not to be as a fanbase. Touched?

So I'll repeat. We just got beat 2-0 away to the champions, our first defeat in 7 games this season. The amount of anger, fall out and manager "lambasting" from our fans is way over the top. Toxic even. Geordie even.

And more impactful for the club than manager decisions... Got it. Tell me more about the culture I grew up in

I would even go as far to say Geordie-Kopite.

I'm presuming that the 'woe is us/Koeman out!! calls (like I made), were made tongue in cheek. If they weren't , this forum has got members with some serious issues lol
I love GOT: it's a madhouse in here!

I suppose it is a worry that Koeman is setting up the team too defensive in the big matches. But Chelsea came into the game yesterday fresh as daisies. While we were playing our third away game in 7 day's.Away to Man City, the game in Croatia and then Stamford Bridge yesterday.I think that has to be acknowledged.

Our 'failure' to kill the hadjuk tie off in the first leg, ensured we had to put out a full strength team in Croatia. Injuries and suspensions yesterday resulted in us not being able to rotate the team more yesterday. But 3 away games in 6 days (two against the champions and favourites for the title) would have been a challenge for any team, not just us.

I'm generally a Koeman fan, but he sure needs to pull his head out of his backside in his approach to 'tough games'. The eleven he sent out into the pitch yesterday were/are capable of playing a better brand of togger, regardless of the opposition.

I'm sorry I couldn't disagree with you more. If you can't get motivated to play in game against the champions on the back of a decent result in Europe, then those players shouldn't be at the club.
I get what you're saying mate but mentally we looked spent. I don't recall a team ever looking so jaded.
