Ronald Koeman discussion

He's put us in a position where our only focus now is to get up the league. There's still plenty of time to do it, but with this group of one paced merchants that he has, in the main, brought to the club, its a tall order.

'No balance, no shape. It has to change'

On this evidence Everton are in real, real trouble. There were very few redeeming features about their play. There is no belief in what they are doing and they are not good enough to play like that.

There is no reaction to what is going on. The fans have just given up reacting. Apathy is too strong a word but they look like they've had the guts knocked out of them.

I don't expect Everton to change the world but I do expect to pick elements where I can see what Koeman is trying to do or why he has recruited that player. There was none of that today. The best they could do is get men behind the ball. No balance, no shape, the system didn't suit the players and there was no quality. Arsenal had five and it could have been a lot more on the weight of Arsenal chances.

Before the game, Claridge said Koeman should be shown patience. Asked if he has now changed his mind: Yes, yes I have.

I am not advocating people leave their job but something has to change quickly.

Surely that's enough!

At least Bournemouth and Crystal Pakace have team shape and play with commitment and purpose...this is now the worst prem league team we are staring at...

The board will do nothing, it’s their modus operandi. Wait for the noise to die down, start the PR machine up, and just carry on hoping for 17th. Nil Satis.

100% there will be a discussion tonight by those who were there, if ever there was a time to get rid it would be after that.

But I reckon Bill and Moshiri will [Poor language removed] out of a decision.

Bournemouth won’t have a problem. They’ve got a manager all the players buy into and better strikers on their bench than we have in the first team.

He's only saying what nearly everyone on here's thinking.

play 5 at the back and still concede 5. Just like we conceded 5 at chelsea last season whilst doing it, like we coneced 4 at OT etc. I don't think we've actually kept a clean sheet in any of the games with a back 5. That is massive insanity. I didn't watch today, i saw the line-up and read regular updates instead and it sounded uttely grim. Only we could actually score in the 93 minute and then still have enough time to concede again. Thankfully this is a deep squad with bucketfulls of talent. Morale is so low, but someone can come in and easily turn this around. Being bullied by a bunch of fannies, just like lyon were as well actually, is not everton at all though, far from it.
