I wonder what his market valuation is at present, very little more than they paid for him I'd guess otherwise less. I also suspect thet the Rooney deal has had a knock effect in all of their transfer dealings since that date, sellers stumping up asking prices for only slightly above average players.

I'm with you Teppic. I'd rather he have just stayed but alas, it wasn't to be.

So that being said, I think I'll find myself pulling for ManU (except against us of course) through the rest of the season if it means more money in our coffers.
