Drinkwater and Barkley both out this summer.
yes...and that reality only hones the knife of schadenfreude.I get the enjoyment people are gaining from his move to Chelsea, hell im enjoying it myself, but, Everton Football Club is poorer for not having Ross Barkley.
Technically we are 15 m richerI get the enjoyment people are gaining from his move to Chelsea, hell im enjoying it myself, but, Everton Football Club is poorer for not having Ross Barkley.

Agree but he will end up poorer when he gets loaned to a midtable team in 2 seasons. Not only had his agent done a number on the club, he's shafted Ross himself. Part of me actually feels sorry for him in a way.
He will waste another year of his career on the bench/reserves before being binned off. He would have been better joining Spurs or even staying with us for a couple more years, improving and moving to one of the top clubs as a starter.
Would I take him back? In a heartbeat but this deal has worked out bad for both parties. The only one who's happy is his scumbag agent.
well, Ross was only any good at running with it (and he couldn't run with his head up). I lost count how many times he misplaced simple ten-yard passes that put us under pressure. He hadn't progressed and developed, not arsed about him going.Say all you like, but I just witnessed a Goodison derby watching an Everton 11 with not one single midfielder capable of holding onto the football and running at the opposition with it.
Yep that's what annoyed me with all our midfielders in the derby.well, Ross was only any good at running with it (and he couldn't run with his head up). And he preferred to leave us and rot in Chelsea's reserves.Say all you like, but I just witnessed a Goodison derby watching an Everton 11 with not one single midfielder capable of holding onto the football and running at the opposition with it.
All true. As is my statement from the derby. And he preferred to leave us and rot in Chelsea's reserves.
