Essex Blue
Player Valuation: £10m
I believe he's good enough to start at times.
Well I'm glad that Moyes doesn't share your viewpoint. The only reason he got on the pitch today is because we are down to the bare bones of a threadbare squad.

Nope.
team that he was singlehandedly carrying towards the end.
Proving how childish you are being? You are ignoring completely valid points which you obviously must know, somewhere in the back of your mind are probably somewhat true?
Even at Wednesday, their fans had plenty of bad things to say about the kid.
That's BS as well. In fact I question how much of Sheff Wed you have actually seen if that's what you think was happening.
He played well and scored a few goals in some of his games. He was in no way singlehandedly carrying the senior Sheff Wed team! No way at all.
You aren't listening to a word any of us have said.
A mistake will affect this lad far more than Pienaar, Gibson, Neville, Osman, any experienced player.
LOLZ. Experience means nothing?
And I'm sorry but Distin makes mistakes like that very infrequently, whereas I have already seen Barkley make similar mistakes in an Everton shirt on a number of different occasions, and I dare say it happened at Sheffield Wednesday as well.
He's still learning and developing, but so what, he's only 19.
Lol it's not childish to disagree, it's childish to not be able to accept someone has a differing viewpoint.
He wasn't very good for them at the outset, but after he settled and gained some confidence and was up to the pace of the games, he was scoring and yes running the show for them. I watched as many of the games as I could, even watching them on Fox soccer, and I think at the end of his tenure there he was coming on very well. I'm not saying he's the finished article, but I do think he's good enough to play.
'You aren't listening to a word any of us have said.'
your reply was 'nope'
Tell me that isn't childish haha? Trying to turn it around on me, when i've actually backed up your own argument a few times anyway.
Look at their forums and see their fans comments, their form dropped badly when he joined, can we afford to do that mate? No we can't. They saw all his good qualities and all his bad, even in the championship.
Fellaini was 18/19 when he first started playing for Standard and made 64 appearances in 2 years including playing in the CL.
We then signed him and he went on to be one of our best regular experienced players.
But at one point he was young and inexperienced but Standard took a chance with him and played him which helped make him the player we have today.
Not saying Barkley is the same as Fellaini but in order for those players like Fellaini (and the ones you mentioned) they need to play to become experienced.
With young players its cathc 22. You don't play them cause they're not ready, they're not ready cause they don't have the experience.
Seemed a little blunt, is all.The 'Nope' was a reply to your question, I'd already argued my point. I suppose I could have just repeated my self again. Instead I chose to be succinct. I just disagree with you that's all. Nothing more
Yes he was terrible for them when he first started, but he was their best player by the time he left.
Every player makes mistakes in their career whether they are 19 or 35.
You're acting asif his mistake cost us 3 points. We where 2-1 down and they didnt score.
List Barkleys mistakes you've seen?
Dont list the Blackburn penalty because Ive seen young Coleman give many a foul away thats cost us! And Coleman is a dead cert for a starting place.
Seemed a little blunt, is all.
I guess we agree to disagree anyway hey
In the Belgian league though mate. Completely different circumstances, just like he played every game at Wednesday. If they were in the CL for whatever reason i'm sure he would have too
Im not a Coleman lover. Point is he makes loads of mistakes but gets played time and time again. In no way have I even insinuated that his mistakes cost us 3 points today. I've just continually made the point that he is still developing and isn't ready for the Premier League yet.
I'm not sad enough to keep a tally chart of Ross Barkley's mistakes, but he was on the pitch for less than half an hour and made at least two today. He has made similar mistakes in making dodgy passes across our box, and has been caught dilly-dallying on the ball on a number of occasions.
And Coleman is no great shakes mate, and I will have critcised him for every one of his rather plentiful mistakes. If you think Coleman is some kind of footballing god then it's no wonder you think Ross Barkley should be displacing experienced internationals like Gibson, Fellaini, Osman and Hitzleperger!
