It's horrible time. If we don't get off to a good start it could effectively end our season before it's begun.

I'm not being all doom and gloom because I think Besic can come in and do a job there although more in a 3 in midfield.

Negged. For negative defeatist thinking.

The club motto is NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM

Not 'lets just give up' before we start.

Just said to Finners, 6 weeks out is better than 6 months out.

And it's all better that us selling him, which we didn't. He's temporarily injured, but he's still ours.

And no weeks out is better than six weeks out.

It's a big blow to the start of the season. People are going to be worried and, with the players who'll start in place of him, rightly so.

Does anyone know how it happened?

This is from the echo

The ECHO understands the incident could actually have been worse, with the starlet - who only signed a new five-year deal just over a fortnight ago - narrowly avoiding an injury that could have wrecked the first half of his campaign.

Calm down with the gloom & doom. Even without Barkley we still have a great team capable of beating any team in this league. If it's a very serious injury then we will surely bring someone in to improve the depth in midfield. A win against Leicester tomorrow and we'll already have as many points as we did after 3 games last season.
