??? As said a million times why would we waste money on a rb replacement when we have a fantastic young talent in Kenny and one of the best in the league coming back from injury????No we are buying Sigurdsson to replace Ross.
Do you really think Koeman would have both in the squad given how similar they are and when we can't afford a replacement for Coleman that isn't on a free?
I would believe that if we weren't relying on Southampton's 3rd choice RB to start half the season. As mentioned every club is, but we have our own funds. We won't go onto spend a further £100m more on players because we've spent loads already, and you can't simply spend for the sake of it and expect top players to join offering them a place on the bench. We've laid our foundations this window and there's plenty more in the tank for future windows to kick on. With the current buys and the muted additions, we've played a blinder and will have virtually bought a whole new team. Buying for the sake of it is a ridiculous notion.
true barkley has been our one man midfield for an age - tom davis came and our team picked up in midfield - we have now ripped out our two best players in Lukaku and ross if he goes fatal imo!I'd honestly argue they are completely different players

Grand. If Kenny starts then ok fair enough. I just don't think Koeman has any intention of starting him.??? As said a million times why would we waste money on a rb replacement when we have a fantastic young talent in Kenny and one of the best in the league coming back from injury????

OK M8Why do people defend the lad so much? I hope he stays but he's completely shafting his boyhood club and leaving on the relevant cheap to likely sit on the bench of a top 6 club.
If he doesn't want to stay and would rather the bright lights of London let him go, he's certainly not good enough at present to be awarded a return down the line like Rooney has.
no it a loan they knew we had an asset to sell worth 100 million - morishi for all his clout has spent money on paying off mismanagement of club debts - and putting funds to one side for the new ground - we need a team on the pitch - the top six teams have added to their squads and will do even more - we look to be having a fire sale!Did the bank accept an IOU then mate?
Yeah as it's not as if he started him in our first pre season is it?Grand. If Kenny starts then ok fair enough. I just don't think Koeman has any intention of starting him.
Exactly. We may have bought a lot of players but we have sold almost the entire Martinez team. There's still plenty of areas that are too weak. Stek isn't a good enough backup GK either. He doesn't even get mentioned because there so many other areas. Why are we buying for the sake of it ?
I think we are all in agreement in that we still need another center back, left back, striker and winger/forward. That is minimum I would say. That isn't buying for the sake of it. That's adding squad depth to a squad that is about to play between 50-60 games this season.
I've gave him loads of stick in the past but obviously I want him to stay.true barkley has been our one man midfield for an age - tom davis came and our team picked up in midfield - we have now ripped out our two best players in Lukaku and ross if he goes fatal imo!
I don't expect him to throw Kenny in straight away aswell but I think he will be given the chance to push himself into the team. Martina will provide competition which could make Kenny a lot better because he will always have to be on top of his game.Grand. If Kenny starts then ok fair enough. You're describing this window as a fire sale?no it a loan they knew we had an asset to sell worth 100 million - morishi for all his clout has spent money on paying off mismanagement of club debts - and putting funds to one side for the new ground - we need a team on the pitch - the top six teams have added to their squads and will do even more - we look to be having a fire sale!
two of our best players may go leaving a team of new signings tell me when thats ever worked?
He doesn't have any obligation to sign a new contract with us.Why would I wish a player well who has purposely ran his contract down to engineer a move and rob his boyhood club of millions?
