2017/18 Ross Barkley

Ross thought he could 'do a Rom' this summer but it has backfired in spectacular fashion because nobody has come in for him with a serious offer.
I expect he will be gone by September 1st but he will end up being an unused substitute more often than not.
He will then go to a club below Everton's level to get game time and he will fade into obscurity.
I don't really have any pity for him because he has brought it on himself.

Or, RB and RK don't get on and Ross thinks he'd rather play for some other manager, even if the wages are less?
Unless that makes it seem like he can think and isn't motivated by money?

I've a feeling Ross had his head turned long before Ron pitched up.

Yet he had quite possibly his best season under Koeman so RK obviously did something right. It basically it boils down to Ross wanting somebody to blow smoke up his arse and tell him he's the best. Ross is clearly as sharp as a bowling ball because he can't see the difference between constructive criticism and needless criticism. Good luck to him, I hope he enjoys sitting on the Spurs beach and asking every week what he's got to do to start (I doubt he's got anything close enough to the motivation or bottle to ask the questions to the managers face, he'd rather just run away) only to be told "Your perfect as you are Ross, juat wait your turn!" Only for it to never happen.

Seems to me that Pochettino likes his players to work tirelessly and 'press' etc etc. But, 'apparently' he'll get the best out of Ross, whilst Koeman can't. How so? Since when has Ross 'pressed'?

I bet Poch doesn't even want him. This is Levy smelling blood in the water and being in cahoots with is agent, but low sell on, make money. No risk for Spurs.

I can't believe what is happening with this lad, he's going to end up hated like Rooney was, infact he's behaving much worse than Rooney, atleast we got a good fee for him at the time and we needed the sale to keep the wolf from the door.

Shame on you Ross Barkley, you might not get on with Koeman, but have some respect for the club that made you.

Unless RK lied when he said Ross spoke to him about the constant media talk.

That was Roberto and Aiden, not sure why you've brought them into it.

I think the saddest thing of all is that so many of us no longer care what happens to him :(
Only because he has brought it upon himself. Patience is a virtue but ours has run out. It's a shame but you can only invest so much in a person and if they don't return the favour then it's time to move on. Think the lad will look back in hindsight and rue his decision which is even more appalling as by knuckling down he could and should have become one of the Everton 'greats'. Sad really.

I didn't bring Martinez into it mate. I just think that's the type of management Ross prefers, El Frudo isn't the only manager to use the beat mate manager tactic. I think it very likely that Koemans brutally honest constructive criticism is one of the issues.

I could dissect all of that but, England?
He played all of the qualifiers and yet only him and Stones didn't play a minute in the oh so successful euro campaign led by Roy.
Big Sam(?!) didn't rate his stats or something, I dunno who can tell? (RK likes stats doesn't he?).
Southgate, please don't let him touch Pickford or Keane or Davies or Lookman or DCL etc..

So dissect all of it then, and I'll rebuff every point you make.

Fact is, his club performances were such that he deserved to be omitted from the England team. It might be said that it was good fortune that he was not part of that disasterous on-the-field team that failed so miserably last year.

Sort of see your point if they can get him for buttons, but splinters in his backside are unlikely to increase his sales value for the future.
