Reported as a grade 3 so roughly 10-12 weeks out by Joyce. But don't think club have given any particular timeline. Probably because they plan on selling him next week anyway.
I can't see how they can possibly sell him this month if the grade 3 tear is accurate. He's barely be fit fully match before the next window so any suitors will surely wait until Jan?

I can't believe what is happening with this lad, he's going to end up hated like Rooney was, infact he's behaving much worse than Rooney, atleast we got a good fee for him at the time and we needed the sale to keep the wolf from the door.

Shame on you Ross Barkley, you might not get on with Koeman, but have some respect for the club that made you.

Also Rooney was 18 and still a boy as opposed to ross who is a young man... also Rooney could have moved to literally any club in the world after the euros and although he didn't behave as we hoped... we still did get a decent fee

That's my thinking too. especially as he was out for 3 weeks with the hernia problem beforehand so he's had absolutely no pre-season.

However I've been looking at Chelsea's squad. As far as I can see they only have 3 home grown players, Cahill, Fabregas and Moses, so that means that, as of now, their squad size for the premier is going to be limited to 20. They need to bring in more home grown and there aren't many available like Ross is.

The cruel God of karma has struck Ross down in his prime for trying to leave his spiritual home.

This must be one of the most idiotic things any footballer has tried to do in recent memory.

All about the agent, after a big payday I fear.

He must have one serious clown imposter posing as an agent if that's the case. There's not been a single bid for the lad yet and in this scenario the agent usually can't get the player to sign a contract extension quickly enough but still they persist, hoping some massive club is going to come along and rescue Ross from the 'evil' of Koeman's wrath...

Beggars belief, it really does.
