I am going to give Ross the benefit of the doubt and will do so until proven otherwise.
I do not believe Ross is a Machiavellian type of lad.
Nor do I believe his agent would do a grand old Duke of York and march him up to the top of the Chelsea hill only to march him straight back down again.
Presumably he deals with Chelsea on a regular basis or if not, he would be desirous of doing business with that club in the future.
So I cannot see him wanting to jeopardise that relationship by appearing to play Chelsea with a view to selling his client at a lesser fee in January.
Ditto Everton...he needs to keep Everton as an option for his clients.
So I am going to give Ross the benefit and will believe that when faced with actually leaving a club he has loved all his life, he had a change of heart and couldn't go through with it.
He wants to stay.
Perhaps I am being naive, foolish even, but that is what I am wanting to believe right now
I thought the same until I heard Moshiri give that interview. Sounded to me like he's basically going in January when he gets round to assessing his options
He wants to review his position in January mate what more is there to say.I am going to give Ross the benefit of the doubt and will do so until proven otherwise.

i think he did, problem is the owner effectively said he has no future today

Cheers Tubes. But is the option I mentioned about spurs only agreeing to go for him in January not another option for that list? Pulls out last minute of a deal he wasnt totally sure on, and decided to hold off for the possible Spurs bid in Jan?
Because January the club would still be able to command a fee for him, make no mistake the club will put massive pressure on him to leave from this point forward.
IF Barkley wanted out he would now be a Chelsea player, IF he wanted to leave on a free then he simply turns down the contract via his agent and this wouldn't even be a story as such, same way McManaman did or Lewandowski did.
What happened today was a player who doesn't really want to leave and the club trying to push him out the door as hard as it could in order to get the best fee they could do.
You really are being naive.....sorry mate, you are a good lad but this fella has played all the fans for fools.....
lets just say , he needs to come out with a statement tomorrow. if he says he wants to stay and fight for his place, good , excellent.
but if he says nothing or doesn't sign , then he is the biggest rat in our history.
If you don't want to go.... Dont take a medical.... Again... It really is that simple.
He has been tapped up..... Freaking obvious. If he still refuses our wage deal and leaves on a free next summer... I hope you change your thinking....This harms our club... It certainly doesn't help it. I hope..... Desperately that he does the right thing... Sign a contract, we get descent money.. We all move on..... If not ?? Well, His decision.
