Only posting this, cause Billy is a sub.

We (Bulgaria) are better in possession (currently 64:36). Manolev and Popov are still quite possibly the only Bulgarians i'd like to see in an Everton shirt.

I got chosen when i was about 8-9 years (just as Moyes joined, by the way). My dad is also an Evertonian.
FM is my passion, haha!

I'll keep you updated. Two good chances for Bulgaria, one of them saved, the other one wasn't very well played by Bojinov. A good chance for Russia too, but not well played at all.

At the moment we are in possession and piling up the pressure for the last ~5 minutes. Really hope Billy comes on in the second half.

Bulgaria, imo, the far better team out there, just unlucky Nikolay Mihaylov (yes, the one that was in the rs ) to drop the ball and they scored. Other than the goal the Russians have done literally nothing.

Really hope Billy comes on in the second half.

Good shot from distance on 51 minutes by Arshavin, saved.
Billy playing wide left, good run inside the box eliminating Manolev and taking a shot, weak one tho and saved with no problem. He's gonna have a tough game against him, as the Bulgarian is much quicker. He doesn't look very good out wide (shocker, I know), but he's still good, considering his opposition, albeit a friendly.

Kamburov just came on for Bulgaria and was a whisker away from goal. Really unlucky Bulgaria today...

Oh. About my fascination with Manolev - 24 year old right back/wing back; kind of like Coleman in attack, even a bit better, but way better in defense than our Seamie.

[ 64-71 ' ] Akinfeev saved a 1 on 1 with Rangelov, excellent play. By the way even Bulgarian comentators have a lot of trouble pronouncing "Bilyaletdinov" - they say it as Bilyelyetdinov, really weird.

[ 73 ' ] Mihaylov as somewhat of a hero after our defense fell asleep and Dzagoev and Pavlyuchenko ran rings around them, but he saved.

[ 75' ] Micanski, a Bulgarian wonderkind, on for Martin Petrov. Billy stopped a Bulgaria attack on the right wing by skinning Manolev.

[ 80' ] Sychev on for Arshavin for Russia.

[ 81' ] Excellent shot from just outside the box, saved brilliantly by Mihaylov. Offside not marked just before that, tho. Russia piling on the pressure winning a few corners in a row.

[ 84' ] Nikolay Dimitrov on for Yankov for Bulgaria. Pavlychenko going close from a long range effort, Mihaylov saved it again tho. If it wasn't for his mistake in the 6th minute - easily Man of the Match.

[ 86' ] Billy on a marauding run down the left flank, but the cross was cleared. Really good!

Yes, he had a few good runs, caused our defense a lot of problems, looked aware in both attack and defense, too. Overall good performance. He stopped Manolev quite a few times, and that's hard. He got past him quite a few times, too, and i consider that harder... So yeah, good performance by Billy.

About the result - we outplayed them everywhere, goal was a mistake from the goalie, who saved the game from being like 5:0 on counter attacks and individual mistakes, so I'm not disappointed.
