Yes i know he plays for Utd but sometimes you just have to admire him, at the age of 36 he can still skip past layers and play in the most demanding league in the world.

And at the end of the day wither we like to admit it he is one of the best players to have graced the game not only because of his silks but his personality as well.

Well he has now decided that he wants to become a coach once he retires, do you guys think he could make it?

In my opinion yes because he can read the opposition so well and would probably be a great motivator.

His interview: FoGaMo

Some very talented players can't adjust to being a coach as they struggle to relate to the comparative lack of skill posessed by the players they're coaching. Perhaps it's no coincidence that many successful managers don't have a glittering playing career behind them.

Yeah i suppose because Jose and Arsene weren't exactly world beaters.

im all for great footballers staying in football when they retire rather than people coaching who lets face it shouldnt be near a football team.

im sure fergie will find a place for him somewhere or i could even see him at cardiff doing some coaching.

Legend and all round good lad met him a few times

When we talk about true professionals like Giggsy Richard Dunne always came over to me as of a similar ilk

By the way what do you reckon about how Richard Dunne was 'allegedly' treated by City I was very suprised and if true was very shabby

Not trying to point score by the way I always respected Dunne and also think he was a key element in ensuring that Munich tribute was observed

ive said what i feel in another thread somewhere on here mate.

thers no doubt about it dunney was treated like crap and deserves better and im not impressed one bit the way my club has treated a player who has been with us 9 years and he deserved respect.

theres things going on at city that i dont like one bit and thats down to garry cook who seems spineless and two faced and ive said my bit also about this situation on my city forum and theres people who agree the way things have been done are shabby to say the least.

aparently dunney wanted to fight for his place and hughes said he wanted him to and the next thing cook sells him..who's running the club ?

i hated hughes last season for everything he did and made my points very vocal on my city forum but i agreed to give him a second chance this season but theres things like the dunne situation thats making me bite my lip very hard because although results have gone well so far theres things im not happy about and one of them also is how he is treating petrov by not even playing him when we need him to come off the bench but because hughes and petrov have fell out hughes wont give him the time of day and if a manager holds grudegs rather than play players regardless of them getting on or not then thats putting my clubs results in danger and you have to question the manager if he does that which he appears to be doing.

i could be here all night mate saying my concerns but its gone off topic from giggsy and he deserves the thread to be his own.(y)

He'll probably be a good coach, I have no idea if he'll be a good manager because it's extremely rare for a truly world class player to be a world class manager, hope he does though, comes across as a nice fella
