As far as CRM is concerned (Customer Relationship Mgmt), I don't tend to need that much. Highrise by 37signals.com is pretty good, however I wanted something I could use from my iPhone. Salesforce.com is available on the iPhone, but you have to signup for a free 30 day trial. Which I have done.
Now when I do this I tend to look for the price after the trial has ended, well where the hell is it? I can't find the price anywhere, it's not obvious to me.
When I go into a shop, and I see a price I buy or not, but I make an informed decision. When there is a product that has a hidden price, well then I think, why is it hidden? Is it because it's ludicrously expensive? Maybe.
It's no different than these people who ring you up with an amazing offer but don't tell you the price, or say if you don't buy it today on the phone without seeing any literature, then you don't get the offer. Fine, go **** yourself.
What is wrong with consumerism? I want an old fashioned shop that tells me what it is I can have, and how much it will cost me. End of.
