If I criticised a member of the management of the company I worked at in the press I'd be on a disciplinary charge at the very least. If I went on a muck raking crusade I would expect to be left holding a box full of my personal effects with the security team closing the door behind me.

He is done. Take him out before he can fling more of his excrement. Unless an article us coming out that can save you 6 million... then give it 24 hours.
Equally if i failed to survey our customers more than once a year to get feedback on our performance eI’d get fired for not doing my job. Certainly saying ‘we are doing to well now - its a bad time to seek feedback’ would bet me and a bunch of top brass fired.

If this bucket of bouillon goes on a muck raking episode it won't enhance any future employment chances, having said that he'll have reamed us for 18m and actually retire properly, in which case we can claim it back from teams that might have employed him in the future, as a damage limitation exercise.

Reckon he'd put his hands up for any culpability in the growing toxicity of the supporters? Nah. This is a water tight contract 'you owe me 12 mill' so **** you situation, or he can go manage Forest Green on 6m a year and we'll pay 90% of it. Cool. ;)

Yep he had us by the short and curlies as our board were in full blown panic mode. He knew he would only get till the end of the season but managed to easily extort another guaranteed 6 million quid on top out of us. Its a disgrace when you really think about it. The guy is a criminal and our board are incompetent gullible fools. Conned by the biggest conman out there in the football world who doesn't even pretend to try and give clubs a decent product. Will be so glad when we can put this sorry period in our history behind us and try and repair and move forward again.

If that's the case its pretty pathetic. The club's mugged themselves out of millions for a terrible manager giving us terrible football.
A stinker by all involved.
I suppose its a bit like someone being asked to take over marketing for VW after Dieselgate - you would have to give them whatever they asked for as no-one would want the job. Except we weren’t in Dieselgate, we weren’t even in a crisis, if we had kept Koeman I think we would have stayed up, perhaps even with Unsy,. We panicked pure and simple and offered whatever they wanted to a man who has made a career of this role.
OK we are past that now and hopefully everyone learned from it. But for gods sake lets get rid of the guy we made the mistake on. The money is sunk cost, who cares...

I was going to agree with that last thread and finish off the sentence, until I realised it was me that started it. Must be cracking up. "us" was missing off the end.
Might as well also say it is sad that a good number have written insulting drivel about a man instead of just saying what everyone bar none think. just that he is not good enough for us and should go soon.
