To be honest if we had already decided to dispense with his services you would think we'd have the foresight to remove him before tomorrow night. There is a strong potential for him to strike a pitiable figure stood on the touch line receiving abuse from all sides home and away support together.
Problem with sacking him after the match in such circumstances is that the media would paint it as the club giving in to mob rule.

End of the season? Do you know what I wish I was more confident he was actually going.

factually speaking this season has been a success. No cups or relegation is exactly what the previous managers achieved. Would surprise me if he was given a extension.

Elstone and Kenwright are in full agreement. Another phenomenal season to secure prem football.

One of the best pieces I've seen written anywhere, that exposes the self made myth of the slug.

Most considered & balanced pieces I’ve read. I’ve been more guilty than most about ridiculing Allardyce based on his appearance or an emotive and unhelpful opinion on what he has just said or done. I can’t help how I think and feel about him. Probably, as a fan, I think and feel about Everton in a very different way to Allardyce who has done so little to build any rapport with our fan base. The job was never about being better than the three worst teams in the division so to pretend it was is at the core of my dislike of Allardyce.

So, it’s time for the Boardto stop playing a game of sit back & let stories develop about will he or won’t he. Sacking him now sends the message we are serious about our ambition, tells candidates we are in the market for a new approach.

Get a new appointment in place pre World Cup, or before the end of this season and put an end to this charade. But, the article is much better worded and less emotive.

I want Ross Barkley to get a FA cup winners medal first.
Then Sam leaves.
Then Kenwright leaves..

Then the World Cup.
Lukaku golden boot and Martinez lifting the trophy.

Then utter madness that ends with moshiri going skint.

Or it will be an anti-climax.

And Darron Gibson entering Formula 1 sponsored by Guinness.

And by the way, Harry Kane is winning the World Cup.
