That may well be the case but he wouldn't sabotage himself purposely mate

He's too arrogant to do so

He knows this is his biggest job (after England) and his last. He'll want to go out on a relative high either way.

He sabotaged his last season from November/December onwards with West Ham mate as soon as he knew he wasn't getting a new contract.

He brought Bolasie on at half time and Rooney was warming up for most of the early minutes of the second half, likely with an eye of coming on for Schneiderlin around the hour mark

However, Jimmy Mac's horrific leg break no doubt put the old kibosh on that one

Then Niasse comes on and scores, thus justifying the sub

Sorry but I don't see much wrong that Allardyce did on Saturday. At the end of the day, it's not his fault if players can't make simple passes

You not think that him spouting off after a game with zero shots and saying we need to become more boring MAY have a negative influence in the team on trying to play anything forward mate?

Not his fault if we can't pass, not his fault we don't shoot, not his fault we make mistakes, what is he responsible for mate for his 6m quid a year salary?

The board only care about staying up. Winning stuff is too hard, hence the recent managerial choices.

While I dont quite agree with the first statement, thats certainly not the ambition I have been spoken to about - when we sacked Koeman a certain cretin was in moshiri's ear panicking about relegation, so I agree right now, they care about nothing but staying up.

Call me crazy but I half expect a man earning 6 mil a year to coach to be able to do said job and get a bunch of highly paid internationals to pass a ball 5 yards. Hodgson seems to be able to do it, pardew had west brom looking like barca against us ffs. We've not got the best players but we sure have a better lot on paper than them two

If your last line is what you truly believe mate, why did we not just stick with Koeman or Unsworth? Why spend 11 m for 18 months of a manager who end of the day can't get them playing?

Because sticking with Koeman guaranteed relegation, whilst sacking him gave us a chance of rescuing things

Koeman had irretrievably lost the dressing room mate. At that point, you simply have to try someone else. Sadly Unsworth didn't kick us on at which point the "Big Sam Panic Button" (Break glass in case of impending relegation) was pressed by Moshiri

I'm not justifying it, but that's the turn of events

It's Moshiri's fault for getting googly eyes over Silva and chasing after him for weeks on end whilst Unsworth toiled. In the end, Allardyce was the most viable choice, so he was brought in short term to keep us up

Should he do that then it's job done and he'll be gone, mark my words

Now Mikey I see what your saying - but the fact we have been so poor and have hardly even looked at the opponents goal in the last few weeks is near criminal - especially because Sam see's himself (in a world of 1) as one of the most progressive and effective coaches in the country.

Having MS on the pitch (regardless of the McCarthy incident) right now is near criminal in my eyes.

If he went today I wouldn't be arsed but whoever came in couldn't fix this. We've tried nearly every line-up possible and they've all looked crap. I'll certainly blame the manager(s) for asking certain players to do more than they can.

Do you trust our club to remove him? I dont, I think its probably more likely (based on a few titbits) that if he finishes above 14th he will be handed an extension.

You know, because Everton and that.

Scary thing is unsworth was picking up more points per game than what this orca is

No, he's not staying on mate. No way

Even a useless putz like Moshiri won't be that stupid

If I'm wrong then I'll hold my hands up, but I sincerely doubt it

Telling you now mate, unless we get real nasty at the stadium - he will be staying for the minimum of his contract... You might even find he has an additional year clause in his contract if he finishes in certain spots.

Sam played 4-3-3 in his first few weeks here, bar the derby

That's the weird thing

Because Unsworth played it against West Ham mate, he was effectively left with not much option after the best result of the season in that game but to keep with it, soon as results tailed off slightly, instantly went to what he wanted to play, trust me if we lost to west ham we'd never have seen Allardyce play it once.

Can see why he did it from the start, as he wanted some height in there against a big WBA side.

But MS should have been turfed off after half-an-hour. He was dire and ultimately played a big part in McCarthy getting injured as well.
