According to Hungarian news, it's a done deal now. Everton let him go free, just asked for fees based on his performances ( played games, goals ). They say that he'll do medical exams today in Italy.
 

good luck to Sammy...showed a few flashes of real class and no doubt the young players got something out of him.. Hopefully we've got someone lined up, esp as Long has been sent out on loan.
 
TBH don't blame him. I'd do one if I was being played out of position all day long. No more Cheeky Crimbo youtube clips though...
 

its a pity Martinez didn't play him in his right poistion up front i bet Kone still won't get more than the 5 goals Eto'o scored this or next season.

Thierry Henry didn't mind doing it at New York Red Bulls in a vastly inferior league.

It's a natural move for me, he doesn't have the pace he had before but he's still a creative player and can pick out a pass, so it makes sense to play him in a deeper role.

Can't see him leading the line now that he's moved.
