My name is Paul, 45 years old, and am originally from Wallasey. Have been living in the US for the past 17 years with the last 10 being here in San Diego. Have been a lifelong Evertonian thanks to my Dad, and had a season ticket in the 80-90s. Absolute high point would be the night of the Bayern Munich game. Found this forum looking for articles about Mick Lyons (don't ask why, I think it was because I was reading Becky Tallentire's "Still talking blue" book). Favourite player of all time is tough, but pull one from Joe Royle, Mick Lyons, Trevor Steven and Alan Harper and it will be close enough. Favourite current player is James McCarthy. Favourite pizza is actually called "Maui Zowie", and as it features pineapple, I would have to say that it is socially acceptable.....

Nope, sorry New York Mets fan. I guess there is some similarity in that they both seem to struggle every year. By the time, the Mets come here (usually July/August), the seasons are long gone for both teams, and it turns into a bit of a non-event.

As for the meaning of San Diego, I would place decent money that it has nothing to do with any part of a whale's anatomy, but given that I don't know better, we can stick with that.
