Scotland vs Ireland

Depends on what team O Neill pick's, with Whelan likely injured id love him to play a midfield 3 with McCarthy,Gibbo and Hendrick, McGeady and McClean on the flanks with Shane Long up front instead of Robbie Keane. Hopefully Coleman is available.

I think it finishes 1-1, but if Ireland go for it they should win.

I think the outcome could depend of Seamus' fitness

I think that's pretty accurate because Anya has been a revelation for us on the left wing! He's full of pace and trickery and has scored/created big goals in the group so far, so it's critical for Ireland that Coleman makes it!

I think it will be a close game but Scotland have been very consistent over the last year and the Celtic park crowd will be the 12th man!

I'd say there'll be a lot of Irish fans who got tickets through Celtic connections, so I'd say there'll be a big Green contingent. Looking forward to the match, should be a good match up!

Yep I'm sure their will be a big Irish support especially with it being at Celtic park! There are lots of nice little sub-plots as well, McCarthy and McGeady obviously being Scottish and playing vs Scotland, McGeady back at Celtic park, Martin o'neill back at Celtic park, Roy Keane back at Celtic park! Can't wait me, I'll be a nervous wreck!

The atmosphere will be unreal, huge amount of Irish supporters sourced tickets through the Sfa website. with both teams making a good start in the group it will only add to the occasion.

I'm already nervous beyond words about this match. O'Neills been pretty conservative so far away from home and I wouldnt be expecting that to change next week. A draw in Glasgow would be no small result given the context of the group so far. Keane will start up front if fit but he might go two up front, you never know. Long has been pretty unlucky so far in a lot of respects, not getting goals but playing all right at Southampton, hes not really getting a look in from O'Neill at the mo.

Scotland have managed to build a club ethos and are much more cohesive as a unit these days .. O'Neill will concentrate on making it a midfield war of attrition though & I see it being a 0-0 or 1-1

I'd expect Ireland to win. Scotland have no quality.

I think what you meant to say was that we have no outstanding individuals! we have a great team that's comfortable on the ball, works hard off the ball and quick on the counter attack! Hence the great results we've had away from home under Strachan!

I'd prefer it that way to be honest rather than being a team focused on one or two individuals ie. Ibrahimovic for Sweden, Ronaldo for Portugal, Bale for Wales etc etc because if that vital player has a bad night, or gets injured, you're screwed!

Be boss after game session either way O Neill, Strachen and Keane!

That said McGeady and McCarthy are going to get dogs abuse, which might take the festivity out of it!!
