Kelty cruise to the play-off final with a 4-1 demolition of Brora (6-1 agg). Manager Barry Ferguson (MBE): "a lot of people were surprised when I came down to this level" - modest to a fault, him. Not sure what level he thought he was at, toiling away with Clyde in League Two - funny how they only managed to win promotion after he'd left.
That’s an impressive win over Bora, and I’d assume they’ll walk it against Brechin. I know they haven’t been around long but don’t know the background to Kelty. I’d assume that they’ve got a good financial backer behind them to get that manager and team together. Good luck to them in the playoff final.

With Basher Baz in charge ,I'm sure it's rangers fans with deep pockets.

Think it would be the biggest achievement in Scottish Football for how long?

If St. Johnstone somehow manage to do the cup double?

I know Celtic won the treble treble, and did undefeated, but this would be huge.
It will be.
But saints biggest achievement would be to sell out one stand full of their own fans.
I say that not disrespectful, I wish the good folk from the Fair City would support their club.

I only found out a week or so ago that Leanne Dempster has left Hibs for Queens Park. Did a fantastic job at Hibs.
Hopefully she'll do a good job at Hampden, or Lesser Hampden, now since not at big Hampden anymore and get the new ground at Lesser Hampden sorted, since somebody screwed up somewhere and the contractors pulled out. Found out she actually approached the club about the Chielf Executives job and not the other way round plus she lives nearby so be handy for her.

I think they'll do it, although sometimes the league team have just enough to grind out a result in these ties. Kelty formed in the mid-70s... there was a girl in my class fae Kelty, and she was always going on about them - they turned junior not long after forming, and had a pretty decent reputation in the surrounding areas. I suppose that era is quite recent in terms of football clubs being established, although it feels a lifetime ago to me!
