Manslaughter? Dumbed down murder. He shown no care for those around him, and when brought out of the car seemed to show no remorse at all.

At some point there will be a majority in favour of vigilante action against criminals like this unless the government are forced to set out sentences that reflect the crime. Too many scumbags like this kill and are not punnished for killing. He should have been tried for murder. All drivers know that cars are potentially lethal. All drivers know that drink driving is dangerous and that it can cause death. This scumbag knew he could kill someone in the state he was in, and still got in his car. Its murder. Why can't our simple minded government accept this and act on it. Will it take a lynch mob out on the streets killing the wrong person for them to realise it's governments responsibility to ensure that the justice system needs to reflect the wishes of all it's citizens.
