2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

We can easily still get 38 points.

A damn sight more if these owners want to do something to save their own investment too.

Yeah, we will probably land there if we stick with Dyche. But that's not my expectation for this season, it's higher. Cannot see us getting 30 points in the 2nd half under him.

Tell me, why there is a justifiable reason to last year, why teams like Bmouth, Fulham, Forest and Brentford that are all at least coached from the same manager for 1 year have progressed in the same time on the pitch and also with the squad, while Everton has regressed. I know some of them have invested more over the years.

Wolves did too, but they sacked a manager that was also not getting out enough of the team and is about Dyche level. And their new manager had a good start so far.

And another thing. The people at the club are working overtime to put it out there that it's important to stay in the league by the time we get to BM.

Bellew was going on about it and tonight Jagielka. It's utter rubbish. It's been the agenda before and it's doing the rounds again. The club is doubling down. They're doing what they did when Headlockgate was going on.

But I tell you what, carrying on in this fashion offers absolutely nothing for us for the rest of the season. And it also pains me to say this but to make it clear, that there will be no magic wand when we get to BM. Sure Dyche won't be there but there'll be a low base for who ever comes in. Seriously, wake up! Time to start changing the football club now.
Agree we need a total reset the "just surviving" mindset means we are trapped in this pergotory of the club justifying the thinking that surviving is enough when it's far far far from good enough for a club our size and will be even less so when we move. And one year we won't be lucky enough to survive, we have no divine right to be in this league and if you swirl the drain for long enough one year you could go. We have to start setting the standards higher and building towards better or we will never move on and progress like other clubs do. I was hoping these new owners would bring standards day one, jury is out so far.
