Not true. Doucoure didn't even play under Lampard to know if he'd improved.

McNeil was good all season. He's also managed McNeil for about 100 years.

Doucore just returned his best numbers since joining Everton and that with only playing half a season. An improvement.

McNeil was inconsistent (at best) under Lampard and his levels of performance improved significantly under Dyche in terms of work-rate, goals and assists. Managing him before is only relevant insofar as he knew how to get the best out of him, ergo improving him.

He needs to show he can improve players. We’re too skint to not have this be a thing. So far, he hasn’t.

Are you joking? McNeil has improved, Gana has improved, Coleman was great under Dyche before the injury, Garner, and of course Doucoure. Lampard hadn't a clue how to use Doucoure, hence why he didn't play him.

All of these players were worse under Lampard. Hence they have improved. Chance creation, xG and everything has gone up.

Doucoure played a lot more under Lampard in the previous season, clear to see him being utilised better under Dyche.

On Gana, I honestly think he's been one of best players this season, but has made high profile mistakes which stick in peoples' mind.
