He’ll know he’s got a job on his hands.
He won’t look at the squad he’s inherited and go “sound that”.

No doubtWe now have Tarkowski, McNeil and Dyche. No doubt Ashley Barnes is on his way with Phil Bardsley. What is there to be optimistic about?
Classic Everton, two and a half year deal that he'll see 4 months of. The board and owner are a joke.Still think Bielsa was the better option. Hearing that the deal is still 2025. That's a terrible deal we've just consigned ourself to midtable obscurity on the medium term.
I think you’ll see a serious charm offensive from this fella , such as it’ll be from him , over the next week or so. I suspect he knows he’s hardly set pulses racing so will be doing his best to get blues onside .I think we just have to shut up and get behind him, coz a fiery but positive Goodison helps a new manager imo.
Which is why this makes more sense than the other mooted option. Taking away the romanticised idea of it and looking at what Bielsa has actually done, the logical thing to expect from him taking over was him demanding all sorts of changes, then it being a shortlived appointment with him either being sacked or walking, and us going in a different direction yet again. Those changes need to be driven by a DoF so that we have continuity, not by a manager. It's one of the big problems we had with Benitez, we gave him loads of power, he made a shedload of changes, and then he was gone in half a season, having got rid of a load of players and made sweeping changes behind the scenes. Bielsa would have been more of the same. A manager who just manages the team and keeps their head down might not suit the people who are seemingly hoping for complete anarchy to bring the club to it's knees, but it may well be what we need to get the outcome we want. They're still better models for long term success. If the club has a structure and identity in place than sensible recruitment of players can follow. Instead we chop and change every year or so and end up with a Frankenstein squad made up of buys from 5+ managers all who had different styles.
It's his favourite place to buy clothesLeast Screwfix will look better on the shirt than Stake next season
??That's the best description of us ever "Frankenstien squad "????They're still better models for long term success. Clearly I was being facetious, however we won't be getting any actual footballers in under Dyche, will we? We'll be getting crossing machines and grocks because Dyche only plays one style of football. Get it wide, get it in the box. A style of football that hasn't worked in the premier league for a very long time.No doubt
The board and owner are a joke, but I genuinely don't think this is evidence of it. Why would anybody accept a 6 month contract to come here? You'd have to be an idiot. We have to at least make it look like we want some stability, even if it isn't going to happen.Classic Everton, two and a half year deal that he'll see 4 months of. The board and owner are a joke.
No I think weghorst and cornet were the chairman Pace's signings. Dyche has hardly ever signed anyone foreign.Just listened to a podcast where I'm pretty sure he said he was a remainer
Also it was the Burnley board that wanted safe signings and preferred British, once the new owners came in he was getting in the likes of Weghorst and Cornet.
Burton's, he was gutted when they went bust. It's his favourite place to buy clothes
