The love in is just that we're desperate for him to be a success.Seems like a nice enough fella but that was just a lot of cliches and soundbytes. Not really getting the love for him based on the safest press conference ever given.

AVIN A GO AT DA FANS, LAD
Which just sets us up to get even more frothy at the mouth when he hasn't been able to work actual magic with poo players. The love in is just that we're desperate for him to be a success.
He really really should have been here during the World Cup.Which just sets us up to get even more frothy at the mouth when he hasn't been able to work actual magic with poo players.
Would be nice if you're right, mate, but my sneaking suspicion is that you're reading into it what you want to, a bit, there.Far from being all sound bytes it came across to me although he could never admit it, that he's put a few of these players under the cosh already in terms of are they fit for purpose and what they can do for Everton. Automatic shirts could be a thing of the past. Also liked how he stated more than once that Lewin is not the only one in the team. It all came across very well to me and sincere. I liked Lampard when he spoke but I thought more substance was on show today.
I'll give it time before I come around to the idea that he should be here at all, but I definitely agree that Lampard shouldn't have been around during the WC!!He really really should have been here during the World Cup.
As good as points on the board.Talks well competition
Lamps < Dyche
In substance and style.
